Sandbed cottage is a delightful mix of old and new with exposed beams, comfortable furnishings and a modern fully equipped kitchen. It is fully refurbished to provide a very high standard of accommodation in an open plan setting. A log burner provides a focal point in a homely environment.
The cottage enjoys high speed fibre optic broadband together with digital TV and DVD player with a selection of discs.
The fully equipped kitchen has low beams and a stone window sill with a view of our many bird feeders. Red squirrels are native to this area of Cumbria and are frequent visitors to the feeders. A French door opens onto a patio area with panoramic views of the surrounding fells. This is a great place to enjoy a morning coffee before heading out for the day or to enjoy a relaxing glass of wine on your return.
